GridWise® Global Forum Call for Ideas
Everything begins with an idea. Earl Nightingale
The GridWise Alliance and its partner, the U.S. Department of Energy will host the first GridWise Global Forum on September 21-23 in Washington, DC. The GridWise Global Forum will bring together international policy leaders, corporate leaders and innovators from North America and around the globe to share their experiences with real smart grid deployments and visions for a smarter grid over the next two decades.
Attendees will hear from an international gathering of legislators, regulators, businesses, investors, consumers, and environmental advocates who will discuss the impact of the smart grid on the ways in which the world will use energy, the impacts of its adoption on different classes of consumers (industrial, commercial, and residential), the impacts on energy supply, and opportunities for investors. The outcomes will include a global view of smart grid today, including best practices from around the world; a clearer understanding of the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead; and a commitment from countries around the world to work together to achieve the full potential of smart grid.
We invite you to share your ideas for both session topics and speakers that you believe will make a meaningful contribution to this important dialogue. Ideas will be evaluated based upon their relevance to the overall theme of the Forum. Speakers will be evaluated on their areas of expertise and their ability to provide informative and insightful perspective to the discussion.
Please submit your suggestions by following these easy steps….
